Welcome to EXPeriencing Stories!

My name is Madisen. I am many things—a marketing professional for a nonprofit organization, a nerd, a sorority girl, a daydreamer, married—but the thing that matters here is that I love stories, and I love experiencing them in any medium they are presented to me. Books, video games, TV shows, movies, graphic novels… they all tell a story, and I’m going to EXPerience them as much as I can.

This blog is devoted to my thoughts about the stories I’m experiencing, whether I’m writing a book review for a novel I just finished reading, sharing my thoughts on my favorite video games, or criticizing a plot point or lack of female characters in an episode of a TV show. Things will probably be more nerd/geek-centered (if you hadn’t guessed that already), but don’t be surprised if I drop some Dickens on you, too.
